Overview
MAF integration is used by companies that need to report or synchronize store information with an external MAF service. The integration depends on correct location, brand, mall, unit, API, and login settings.
Use only when required: If the company does not report to MAF, leave this integration disabled.
Settings
Open Options, then go to the integrations area and select the MAF tab.
| Setting | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Enable MAF | Turns the MAF integration on or off. |
| API URI | The service address used for MAF communication. |
| Brand | The brand value supplied for the company or store. |
| Mall | The mall value required by the external service. |
| Unit | The store or unit identifier. |
| Default location | The QBM location used for MAF reporting or processing. |
| User ID / Password | Credentials used by QBM to connect to the MAF service. |
Product And Location Mapping
- Confirm QBM location matches the store or unit expected by MAF.
- Review product configuration if the integration requires product grouping or mapping.
- Do not change brand, mall, or unit codes without confirming the values with the mall or integration provider.
Recommended Workflow
- Enable the integration only after credentials are ready.
- Enter API, brand, mall, unit, location, and credentials.
- Save Options.
- Run a controlled test for one day or one store.
- Review any returned status or error message before using in production.
Troubleshooting
- If connection fails, check API URI, user ID, password, firewall, and internet access.
- If data is rejected, check brand, mall, unit, and location setup.
- If totals are wrong, compare QBM sales reports for the same location and period.
- If the tab is not visible, confirm the edition/module and permissions.
