Overview
Tab Path: Services > Visa List / Visa Settings
Visa-related work often needs dates, status follow-up, and consistent service handling. QBM provides dedicated visa screens so users can maintain those records separately from ordinary services.
Use the settings screen for shared setup and the detail screen for each visa case or service record.
Main Screens
| Screen | Tab Path | Use It For |
|---|---|---|
| Visa Settings | Services > Visa Settings | Maintain shared visa-related setup values used by the workflow. |
| Visa List | Services > Visa List | Review all visa records and search by the person, case, or status you need. |
| Visa Details | Services > Visa Details | Create or update the actual visa service record. |
How It Works
- Settings should be reviewed first so users have the correct starting options.
- Each visa record should be maintained as its own follow-up case with accurate dates and notes.
- Reminder settings can complement this workflow when expiry or due dates matter.
Recommended Workflow
- Review Visa Settings before first use or when business rules change.
- Create a visa record from Visa Details and enter the person, service, dates, and reference information your team needs.
- Use Visa List to monitor open records, renewals, and follow-up activity.
- Update the record each time the visa stage changes so status reporting stays useful.
Best Practice
- Keep due dates and reference numbers exact.
- Do not leave completed or cancelled cases looking active.
- Use related reminder settings for expiry-sensitive work.
