Dineplan Integration Guide

Use this guide to set up Dineplan in QBM, import or match items, import cash sales, and review integration logs.

Where to find it: Dineplan appears under the external services menu when the integration is enabled.

Open Options, then go to the integrations area and select the Dineplan tab.

Dineplan Items

The Dineplan Items screen helps users compare Dineplan items with QBM items and create or match records where permitted.

  • Review Dineplan item names, codes, prices, and tax setup before importing.
  • Match Dineplan items to existing QBM items when possible.
  • Create missing items only after confirming category, tax, unit, and account defaults.
  • Use the logs to follow up on unmatched or rejected records.

Dineplan Cash Sales

The Dineplan Cash Sales screen is used to bring Dineplan receipt or ticket activity into QBM. Users normally select date range, location, customer or account defaults, then import reviewed receipts.

  • Import only the date range that should be posted.
  • Confirm the correct store or location before importing.
  • Review payment methods and tax totals after import.
  • Do not import the same date range twice unless support confirms duplicate handling.

Logs And Troubleshooting

  • If login fails, check tenancy name, user name, password, and API address.
  • If items do not import, check item matching, tax setup, and required item defaults.
  • If sales totals differ, compare Dineplan totals, QBM imported receipts, tax, discounts, and refunds.
  • If the menu is not visible, confirm the integration is enabled and the user has permission.
