Where To Find It
Path: Utilities > Letters
Use the saved-letter screens when the business wants reusable letter records for repeat communication.
How It Works
QBM stores the letter name, subject, body, salutation, complimentary closing, inactive status, and right-to-left setting as a reusable record.
Main Areas
| Area | What It Means | When To Use It |
|---|---|---|
| Letter identity | Includes the reusable letter name and subject. | Use it so users can quickly find the right saved letter. |
| Body and closing | Stores the message content, salutation, and complimentary closing. | Use it when the business wants consistent wording. |
| Layout controls | Includes inactive status and right-to-left behavior where needed. | Use it for multilingual or retired letter content. |
Recommended Workflow
- Create the letter with a clear name and subject.
- Write the body using the wording you want reused consistently.
- Set the salutation and complimentary closing if your process uses them.
- Save the letter and reuse it from the relevant communication workflow.
Best Practice
- Keep letter names recognizable to end users.
- Review saved letters periodically so outdated wording is retired.
- Use right-to-left only when the communication language genuinely requires it.
