Overview
Today's Reminders is a review screen that helps users keep up with operational follow-up across many areas of QBM.
Where To Find It
Path: Utilities > Today's Reminders
Use Today's Reminders when you want one screen to review urgent items, follow-up work, and approval-related tasks.
How It Works
QBM gathers reminder types such as overdue bills, overdue invoices, tax due dates, product lots expiry, notes reminders, approvals, checks, and employee-related items into one grouped list.
Main Areas
| Area | What It Means | When To Use It |
|---|---|---|
| Reminder list | Shows the items currently due or approaching due dates. | Use it at the start of the day or before closing to review pending work. |
| Reminder type groups | Separates approvals, overdue items, expiry alerts, tax alerts, and note reminders. | Use it to focus quickly on the type of issue you need. |
| Settings button | Opens the reminder configuration side of the process. | Use it when the reminder behavior needs adjustment rather than only review. |
Recommended Workflow
- Open Today's Reminders and review the grouped items.
- Start with the most urgent or overdue items first.
- Open the underlying record from the reminder when action is required.
- Return to the reminder list until the day's follow-up is complete.
Best Practice
- Review reminders as part of a daily routine.
- Use the list to drive action, not just to observe issues.
- Keep reminder settings realistic so the list stays useful rather than noisy.
